Maye Funeral Home, Inc. was born in the heart of the owner, Barbara J. Maye as she followed her God given assignment. Like many people in ministry, she spent years running from her divine purpose. However in December 2020, during a national pandemic she walked into it being tired yet fearless. She faced many obstacles and delays throughout the years in her endeavor but makes no excuses for she is “Here Now” and with the help of her Saviour and ultimate source she will do all things well.

Ms. Maye who is a Licensed Mortician (Funeral Director and Embalmer) also hold degrees in Accounting. She graduated from Mortuary School at the top of her class with a perfect 4.0 GPA and proudly slightly below that in Accounting. While her present career choice is quite eccentric in contrast with her previous career her experience, her strong will, determination and professionalism will place her on the cutting edge of the Funeral Service Industry. With death being one of the most traumatic experience a person will face in their lifetime, she sees the need for a full service funeral professional who does more than serve a death call. Her passion and vision is one that fulfills the family needs prior to and beyond the burial service, thus the name Maye Funeral Home, Inc. ~ A Circle of Life Ministry by Design.  

Her main objective is to have the families she serve prepared financially in life for death as well as to assist them through the grieving and healing process at any point of their lives. From the newborn that never comes home from the hospital, to the 35 year old Business Executive who transitions suddenly in a plane crash to the more mature client who simply transitions of age/natural causes she wants to be there. Quite simply she cares from the womb to the tomb and then some. Not only has Ms. Maye prepared herself to care and serve but has aligned with an elite array of staffers that have an extensive knowledge in their applicable fields and life experiences.
