James Joyner Obituary

James E. "Pete" Joyner, peacefully transitioned to his eternal rest on Wednesday, December 24,2025 at UNC Health - Lenoir with his beloved wife, Debra "Dee" Maye Joyner by his side.

A Celebration of his life and legacy will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at St. Luke FWB Church, 306 W. King St., LaGrange, North Carolina with Rev. Dr. Joe N. Dixon delivering the eulogy. Committal and Interment Rites will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

A public visitation and viewing will also be held on Sunday, December 28,2025 from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM at the church prior to the funeral service.
